For this year’s South African Music Awards, stars came in unconventional and daring looks.DJ Cleo shut the house down by revving onto the pink carpet in a motorbike.

Actress Linda Mtoba gave an artistic interpretation of how she could freeze music in a hand-sculpted bodice by Jane Wolff-Treloar and dress by McCarthy Wolff. Singer Lady X wore a moulin rouge-inspired beaded dress with bright red hair. Anele Zondo broke the internet with her daring costume by Otsile Sefolo from Otiz Seflo.
