he past few days have been all about extraordinary brands showcasing their contemporary and eye-popping fashion collections and pulling out all the stops to strut the busy runway.
The London Fashion Week, which was presented by Clearplay, from September 16 to September 20, started on a high.
On the first day of this event, Temperley London, Bora Aksu and Poster Girl kicked off the season in style, as well as the first shows from Bfc Newgen designers including Leo Carlton, Helen Kirkum and Harri from the iconic Old Selfridges Hotel in London.
The second day took the notch up and saw the return of Jw Anderson to the LFW schedule, with other British brands Molly Goddard, Phoebe English and Rixo.

The fashion week also illustrated well some of the industry’s best-emerging talent.
London fashion week happens shortly after New York Fashion Week, which made news headlines with memorable fashion statements.
Last week, The Star reported on New York Fashion Week where celebrities also graced the event with their stunning looks.
One of the world’s most recognised premium lifestyle brands, uplifting and inspiring consumers, Tommy Hilfiger, was also showcased in NYFW in spectacular apparel.
“My heart immediately went to New York’s iconic creative culture when I thought about where to launch our return to fashion week,” said Tommy Hilfiger
“This is where fashion, art, music and entertainment was all coming together when I first started out in the industry. And today, it is still this approach that inspires me to engage with the cutting-edge communities building new creative experiences. This season is all about the collision of my favourite archival inspirations with new live event concepts and virtual worlds. It’s the perfect expression of what we stand for as we pay homage to our roots with a return to NYFW.”
Tommy Hilfiger celebrates the essence of classic American style with a modern twist.
In June, The Star also reported on one of the popular fashion shows in June, London Fashion Week, revealing some of its momentous events.
