30 August 2010, Johannesburg: Satya Paul is all set to sizzle in Johannesburg with an exclusive showing of ‘The Best of Satya Paul’ at The India Show, a blue-chip trade and investment dialogue, organised by the Commerce Ministry of the Government of India, Confederation of Indian Industry and the High Commission of India .
Spring is in the air at AFI Cape Town Fashion Week from 12 to 14 August 2010, when a heady mix of emerging and established designers will flaunt their collections for the new season. With the Mother City’s premier fashion week showcasing the hottest spring/summer ready-to-wear collections at the CTICC, it’s not surprising that the theme is “Refresh, Revive,Renew”.
South African swimwear designer Dax Martin is one of 11 international designers invited to the Gran Canaria Moda Cálida show in Las Palmas, Spain, at the end of June.
Martin is well known for his striking pieces that have been seen by television viewers around the world during the Miss World 2009 and 2010 pageants, when more than 100 contestants at a time modeled his swimsuits.
