The group’s relentless efforts have contributed to the “rebirth” of ancient cultures and heritage; and to the renewed interest in original customs, and traditional styles. New techniques and artistic capabilities have emerged, influencing economic and political discourses, aiming to improve and promote sustainability in lesser developed cultures.
The founder of UNITED FASHION FOR PEACE is Tunisian-born Fériel Berraies Guigny - daughter of an ambassador, a former diplomat herself and ex-model, currently Chief Editor of the magazine NEW AFRICAN WOMAN. She is well aware of the need to promote these cultures extensively, and to foster communication among civilizations for humane causes through fashion.
She had been contemplating a similar course of action for many years when she and several other members, who had many years of expertise and had been making considerable contributions in their respective fields, co-founded UNITED FASHION FOR PEACE.
The group’s aim is not only that of contemporary fashion trend-setting, but is also oriented towards making “ancient fashion works” attractive to the modern world. Fashion and cultural attractions require significant paraphernalia. Creative staging and serial events provide strategic and invaluable influences in spreading and promoting messages of PEACE. The group also promotes more environmental protection standards for sustainable development, which gives multinational corporations more operational flexibility, while creating hope for future generations. Our immediate humanitarian efforts benefit individual populations and the world-at-large, as well as our own children.
In addition to seeking sustainable investment programs to raise the necessary support for growth, we continually hold discussions to collaborate and participate in international events. We strive to make joint efforts with respective governmental, non-government organizations, corporations and private individuals.
Whether it is in organizing a main event, taking part in an event for an organization in conjunction with their causes, to rendering advisory services, our constant efforts to promote humanitarian causes is a mainstay of our activities. We carry out projects of all sizes within our capabilities, and can call upon other specialists for support if needed.
