“Urbanchic” a style trending from Baltimore and Brooklyn  street style fashion began making it’s original appearances 2 years prior, as a multi-range of designers picked up on the cultural popularity amongst daring youngsters.

It is a mix of high fashion looks blended with an urban or casual appeal.  A high bunned Audrey Hepburn in flashy gloves and skinny jeans.   1960s styled hair and bold red lips overshadowed by shiny black leather.  It is retro, classic, and modern styles collaborating together to suit a desired vintage type look.
“Urbanchic by Ayo”- stemming from the hot craze, is an appeal that allows for ethnic prints and textures to unite in high fashion consciousness.  ayo6 It is also a recognized clothing influence which has been published in several media fashion sources such as Stylelist.com,  002 Houston Magazine (May), several NewYork  press releases and even photographed/filmed inside
New York Couture Fashion Week during Fall 2010 and 2011 on musician Niva the Soul Diva, and Trixie Gynn of the “Trixie Gynn Show”.  Influence also to be seen on Los Angeles singer Assel Abdrakhmanova.  Designer  Mrs. Ayo Shittu is now up to be presented an ultimate honors Redzone Award from ( B.E.T. comedian ) Keir Fiya Sylvester and Sha ‘Rayla Entertainment  in association with Top Notch Entertainment.
The trend developer with the NewYork edge has made an influence in urban fashion which we now see today in several boutique/outlets like JUSTIN clothing, Claires, and local fashion accessory stores in Houston,TX.
