October 2010 - The creator of African (‘Weddin’ art’ ) Beatrice Lottin Samé opened the second edition of wedding art exhibition  in Douala, Cameroon with the participation of 60 exhibitors, bringing together wedding couture, floral arrangements, hair and makeup, lingerie and reception planning.

Each evening was dedicated to a specific designer where their collections were put on show, culminating into an evening of ethnic cuisine and Karaoke.
This fantastic extravaganza all took place in four marquees at Castle Hall, Douala. This event also included a beauty election, traditional dance parties, as well as various features of wedding arrangements.

The star of this event was undoubtedly Martial Tapolo Cameroon's internationally renowned designer whose gala evening was innovative, exciting and full of promise. The dream location of star footballer Eugene Ekéké private residence added to the magical evening.

Tapolo’s wedding collection consisted of 30 couture gowns exclusively designed for the Wedding’ art’ expo.
The success was mainly due to Tapolo’s amazing team of professionals, choreographer Junior Ebollo, make-up by the   Emani beauty center  and last but not least the totally beautiful and professional Cameroon models.

Following the Tapolo show a performance by singer Paper Zoe and Ruth Kutto was highly appreciated.
The 3rd edition of  ‘Weddin’ art’ is eagerly awaited.

Uzuri would like to thank Beatrice Lottin Samé and all the people who donated their time and expertise to make this event a huge success
