The 2nd edition of Tunisian Fashion Week was held on 14th-8th of April 2010.This event was organized by Yalil Production under the patronage of the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism, and supported by the Ministry of Industry. It was held at the Municipal Theater.
The art nouveau style venue proved to be the perfect ambience to display designers’ collections.
Young local artists and foreign artists of international repute complemented the atmosphere by sharing knowledge and inspiration.
Models paraded adapting their moves to the style of the clothes with the rhymes and beat of the music.
Designers presented their latest collections alongside we discover handbags, shoes, and jewelry.
Each day a design school presented a novelty of the future generation of the students.
Makeup artists and hairstylists made sure that each designer’s look was completely personalized.
Tunisian singers and actors also took to the stage to keep the audience entertained - an event not to be missed.
The fashion week offered something for everybody.
The renowned press office 2e-bureau Paris had invited an number of French celebrities including the French actor and TV presenter Magloire together with international press and buyers
A round table discussion was organized, in order to discuss potential marketing opportunities. The goal of fashion week is to encourage and promote the growth of the fashion manufacturing industry in Tunisia
To participate in the fashion week was a delightful experience we discovered fashion from all sources, new fashion trends, from street style to the latest cutting-edge designer collections from haute couture to ready-to-wear
