8 months ago this 23 years old University student was preparing for his Masters in Business Management. Today he is Mr. France. Al is a top model /actor. He is also preparing to participate in the Mr. World
contest holding soon in South Korea. UZURI had the opportunity to interview Al Maïman, Mr. France
UZURI, When did you decide to become a model?
Al Maïman
I had never intended to become a model, Last year I was at a party and I was approached by the photographer Bruno Etenna who asked me if I would be willing to take some photos with him; It all happened very quickly, after the photo shoot Bruno presented my photos to several different clients and within weeks I was going on castings to prestigious fashions houses, I obtained my first advertising campaign for the French underwear company WAXX
Do you like to model and will you make it a career?
Al Maïman
I am very happy and satisfied with the success that I have been having, but I intend to continue my studies.
I would like in the future to go into cinema
UZURI,
You have already worked on two films?
Al Maïman
Yes I had the leading role in "Tout est encore possible". By Christian LARA, I played Salman, a Saudi prince, in the film
And just recently I acted the role of a secretary in "Skin Territory” which is directed by Jean-Louis Daniel,
UZURI,
Al you play the part of a Middle Eastern prince, your origin is from Saudi Arabia?
Al Maïman
Yes my origin is Saudi Arabian. I was born and raised in Paris I am very proud to work with the famous Saudi designer Yahya EL BISHRI

So many things in such a short space of time, tell me about the Mr. World Contest
Al Maïman
It is all very exciting; I will represent France in the 6th Mr. World contest which will take place in Seoul in Korea on, March 27th 2010
UZURI
How do you manage everything, tell me your secret
Al Maïman
Ambition, determination, belief in my goals and I take care of my health by exercising regularly and eating correctly and I look after my skin. I do not smoke or drink alcohol.
Life is too short I consider it should be respected and enjoyed.
